Why I Built EverGuard Roofing

My name is Damir Amonov, and I’m the owner of EverGuard Roofing. I have a background in the insurance industry in an actuarial role, which has given me a deep understanding of how claims are evaluated behind the scenes. Alongside that, I’ve gained hands-on experience in construction and home renovation.

That background has given me a unique perspective that most contractors simply don’t have — understanding both how homes are built and how insurance claims are evaluated.

As I continued working in both insurance and construction, I began to see the same pattern over and over again: homeowners being rushed into decisions, confused by vague explanations, or left dealing with contractors who disappeared once the check cleared.

On top of that, I saw how confusing the insurance side of the process can be for homeowners — what’s actually covered, what isn’t, and how easily things can be misunderstood without clear guidance.

I knew there had to be a better way — one built on clear communication, accountability, and a deeper understanding of both construction and the insurance process.

EverGuard Roofing was created to be that alternative: an owner-led company built on clear communication, accountability, and guidance homeowners can rely on. The person inspecting your home is the same person standing behind the work, helping ensure nothing gets lost or overlooked along the way.
